In October 2018, we supported Metavivors directly with funding to print flyers at a Parliamentary march. The march was held during the presentation of a petition for better access to drugs for advanced breast cancer patients. It was a great opportunity to raise awareness of Metavivors for the people who were attending the march.

We also funded travel and expenses for 2 advanced breast cancer patients who were part of Metaivors to fly down to Wellington to have their voice heard at the presentation of this petition to the Health Select Committee.  We all felt it was so important for the Health Select Committee to hear how their decisions were directly impacting the actual patients who were living with the disease.
